Basic Mexican that's pretty dang good.
1st visit. Tough to find authentic Mexican food north of the border especially in the middle of a town of 2k. 5 stars if I visit twice and taste/service is the same. Steak fajitas/burro and kids enchilada to feed 4. Steak was not salty, guacamole was tasty and plentiful on the burro. Only change would be less cheese or none on the beans. Comp chips/salsa to start you out. Server Mauricio was outstanding. Ask him to sing you happy bday in Spanish. It will make your day/night.
The food was delicious and authentic Mexican food. The servers were helpful and courteous. We ate in the outdoor patio, so the atmosphere was nice. It was a little hard to find parking, but that is the case for almost all stores in sisters.
I ordered takeout dishes for my spouse and a salad for myself. I clarified twice to please omit the cheese and tortilla strips on mine. I didn’t think I had to say I had food intolerances. Because the food was all packaged up on pickup and they were really busy, I did not check the order. I left a 20% tip. Got home and there was shredded cheese and tortilla strips on my salad. Trying to pick out every little piece of cheese was impossible. I gave up and did not eat it. It’s not worth the not feeling well. Is it really that hard to leave things out? My husband said his food was good.
Great service and pleasant wait staff. The food was on par for a standard restaurant, the only complaint I would say was that the place was really small for the people that were there. We did have a short wait time even though there were a ton of people waiting, so that was nice. But otherwise, there might be 15 tables, so expect a wait. They also had 3 TVs playing the se thing which was college basketball. Meh. Would recommend overall!
COVID-19 visit. Outdoor seating was lovely and service was spectacular. I felt well separated from other tables. Margaritas were well received at my table though I did not partake. Fajitas were amazing.
Good food/great people We will go back & tell our friends to go.
Fantastic food and great service!
I enjoy the patio. The service is decent. Margarita was yummy. Food is a bit bland and boring, not horrible. But not worth the price I felt.
Absolutely the best Mexican food around. We're from southern CA and know good Mexican food. This place is as good, if not better, than our favorite places back home.
Great experience. Margaritas were great, food great, and service great. I like restaurants where the staff have been there for a long time, and understand all the dynamics of their situation. This is one of those places.
Our go to Mexican restaurant whenever we go through Sisters. Always great food and service. Nice folks and casual setting.
The food is excellent, the prices are not. Great specialty drink menu and friendly staff
Excellent Mexican cuisine, very friendly staff. Absolutely love their patio area. Has its own bar. The fresh squeeze margarita is AWESOME!
Great food, atmosphere and service.
We had cheese enchiladas and a tostada salad. Not bad for a small town. Portions were good. Would go back if we were passing through and in the mood for Mexican food.
My friend ate. I did not. She got sick for five hours. Also during summer last year her son-in-law got very sick. For that reason i would not go back. I live in Sisters. I would not go back.Yet i see this place often full of people.
Good mexican food and drinks
We love the chips & salsa. Food is tasty. Friendly service. This is our 3rd or 4th year making sure we eat here. While we wanted to come bk this year, we recalled having a less tasty experience last year but figured it was just a fluke. We love the Flan too but too full to eat any this year. The chicken tortilla soup is amazing and huge. Took home leftovers. We enjoy the quaintness of Sisters. We like taking pics with some of the statues Etc.
Super awesome service authentic atmosphere and food! Love the jalapeño street tacos chips salsa beans rice and margaritas! 5 dollar margaritas during happy hour!
We LOVED this place!!!We went in on Thursday night, and the place was Packed. We could wait 15 minutes or eat in the bar.We chose to sit at the bar, next to another nice elderly couple. We were shocked that we got such great service! They were very quick to take our order, get our drinks, and serve us AMAZING SEAFOOD ENCHILADAS, with their Fabulous Homemade Sauce on Top!This is Absolutely be A New Favorite, we will visit every time we are in Sisters Area!Perfecto!!!
Came in with our family of 7 and were seated quickly. Clean and welcoming environment! Wonderful and friendly staff! And the food...DELICIOUS!!! If you are looking for homemade and authentic Mexican food-look no further! We had the soup, macho burrito, carne asada fries, tacos, and tamales, and everything was spectacular! Will definitely be coming again!!!!!!
They have the BEST shredded beef ever! I had the bar tacos, and the visit before that was nachos. Ummm good!
Good food for a reasonable price, owner always makes sure to check up on customers when present. I would recommend for reasonably priced authentic Mexican food. The fresh squeezed margaritas are also amazing!
Stopped by this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was had some other customers when I went by was busier by the time we left. We ordered one appetizer, jalapeños poppers, and that was good. Also had two dishes... Gordita platter (new item) and habanero tacos. The Gordita platter dish was by far a great dish! I kept on raving about it was I was eating it ha. Large portions. In addition, we lastly ordered a flan and of course that was great as well. Coming from Arizona (Next to the Mexican border) where we have Mexican food restaurants on every corner... I find it hard to find really GOOD Mexican food out here in Central Oregon. I am so glad this restaurant service amazing Mexican food! Plus, decent prices!
One of my favorite places in town to get a delicious meal and a local beer. I was just there today and got the chicken tortilla soup (my usual) with a Mexican Lager from Three Creeks Brewing down the street. They give you chips and salsa while you’re waiting. Good service and great food, right on the main strip. Parking can be a hassle if you are from out of town but it’s worth it.
Awesome food, friendly staff, cute restaurant. Can't wait to return!!
Great place! Great food, great service!
How far would you travel for delicious food? Worth the drive.
Delicious food and sit-down/casual Mexican vibes. Staff was friendly and the chips and salsa were great! My wife loved the chicken fajitas and I enjoyed the carne asada plate.
This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Bend! Southwest convenient location, friendly staff, great margaritas and excellent food. Definitely worth stopping in!!
Wonderful flavor, finally a mexican restaurant with real spices!
My family loves Rancho Viejo. I have a lot of picky eaters at my house and they’re able to accommodate everyone’s needs. They’ve never mixed up an order and always follow instruction with changes made. Love it!
Our favorite Mexican restaurant t - anywhere! Really good margaritas. Unlike most Mexican food, it DOESNT all taste the same
Delicious generous portions served quickly. Awesome cocktails and the best chips and salsa anywhere!
Friendly service, good food a little pricey
We stopped in by chance because it was late and we needed to eat quickly. My wife and I are vegan so we didnt expect much variety that we could eat. The waiter was VERY accommodating. He had them make us a totally vegan fajita and a totally vegan burrito. They even went so far as to steam the veggies rather than use butter or grease to fry them. They use who black beans rather than refried beans. We are impressed and will be back again soon.
Yummy ceviche and chicken tortilla soup
The best Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. The staff was super friendly and they made sure that we wanted what we wanted. I highly recommend it.
Really good Mexican food but if you dont like spice you better let them know ahead of time.
Delicious Mexican food with great service. Such a fun atmosphere too! Enjoyed my post race fruit margarita with my meal!
Friendly, helpful staff, good margaritas, standard Mexican food, well portioned, kids menu, nice atmosphere
Always top notch food, drink, and service
Very good service and food was very good, but a little disappointed in my ground beef, it could have been spicier.
Expensive and very limited menu..place was dirty
Friendly waiters. Good Mexican food. Bar area separate from eating area. Bar has sports on TV.
Horrible customer service. Went there Thursday night. Sat and waited 45 min. My niece went inside to find out how much longer and they said they were not going to serve us so I went inside to see what was going on. They ended up serving us and we did eat but I would not go back. How rude. Don't take names if you not going to seat people.
Food is consistently good and the room has a nice vibe for dining in. The menu has gotten smaller in recent years.
The food was alright and was presented well, however on our visit the service was not good. Wait staff seemed very distracted and busy talking / arguing with each other. Mexican food is usually pretty fast but not in our case. It was busy but that did not really account for the lack of care from the staff. Not horrible but probably won't make a second visit anytime soon.
Food was great. Service was good.
